On Tuesday 10th March, Hazel Parsons wedding venue consultancy will be holding a wonderfully relaxed day of wedding networking at St Ives Harbour Hotel from 10am-4pm. 

Tickets are £75pp or grab an early bird before 10 pm on Tuesday 24th of February for just £65pp. Re-connect with other industry pros, grow your supply chain, meet new businesses and re-discover opportunities to collaborate or refer clients. This event is open to everyone, as long as you run, own, or work in a wedding business.

Attendees can enjoy a two-course sit down meal, refreshments, informative speakers, networking activities and great conversations alongside other wedding pros from the South West. Wedding Pros Gather for Networking and Inspiration at St Michaels Resort

Our final event of 2024, the Prosecco and Chat Networking Event at St Michaels Resort, proved to be a valuable and enjoyable experience for all who attended.

Connecting and Learning:

The event fostered a strong sense of community, with attendees building new relationships and strengthening existing ones. The relaxed atmosphere, fueled by live music from Our Atlantic Roots and delicious catering by St. Michael's Resort, encouraged open conversation and collaboration.

Beyond networking, attendees gained valuable insights from industry experts:

• Ben from Hostology Collective shared strategies for optimising client communication, streamlining workflows and ‘how to use’ the Hostology system to look after wedding clients and book more weddings!

• Nikki from St.Michael’s Resort shared the venue’s journey in the World of Weddings.

• Shane from The Cornwall Channel gave us expert insights into developing a Podcast for your business and how to make that happen.

The presentations gave attendees actionable ideas to implement in their businesses.

• Entertainment: Live music from Our Atlantic Roots and magic from Joshua Brett Magic created a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.

• Supplier Showcase: Attendees enjoyed stunning floral displays by Perdies Flowers and delicious cupcakes by Polly Webb Cakes, gorgeous styled setups by our events company Out of The Ordinary Events, showcasing the talent within our local wedding industry.

• Networking Opportunities: The event facilitated valuable connections between wedding professionals, fostering potential collaborations and partnerships.

Looking Ahead:

Building on the success of this event, we are excited to announce our next training event for 2025, The Ultimate Styled Shoot Masterclass taking place at The Hotel du Vin in Exeter on the 5th and 6th of March 2025. This event will cover how to plan, organise, style, collaborate and showcase your work to prospective clients. Attendees will create swoon-worthy portfolio content perfect for editorial features and their portfolio.

We haven’t left the fabulous wedding suppliers out. Oh no, we just wanted to create consultancy sessions that would allow you to get the most out of it for your business. The Wedding Biz Surgery will give you access to a 30 minute 1:1 appointment with one of our wedding biz doctors completely free of charge, in fact all you need to do is book your appointment time.
